A nice mix of supererotic scenes with dashes of humor. Kit made me laugh a lot in this book, too. I really like how Dillon is the one who starts off so confident, yet by the end of the book, his vulnerabilities are revealed and Kit is the one helping him. This book has a lot of sex in it, but the author uses the scenes to advance the story and their relationship. After much encouragement, Kit ends up at his place and the lessons begin. They meet after the meeting and Dillon pushes Kit to let him teach her a few lessons. This really turns on Kit, and Dillon knows it. Dillon takes the stage and starts to brag about his many sexual conquests. While there, though, she meets Dillon Holt.

Her biggest thing is that she is just shy and awkward. After a series of events, she ends up at a sexual healing group therapy session, where she feels like a fraud because she doesn't really have sexual issues. While she can write crazy sex scenes, she has never experienced anything close to what her characters enjoy. Kit is a librarian who secretly writes erotic romance books but has never had enough courage to show a lot of people what she writes.

Charlotte Stein has fast become one of my favorite authors, and Addicted just adds to my obsession. Well done.Īddicted by Charlotte Stein (erotic contemporary). I really enjoyed their courtship as well as the erotic sexy times these guys share. Ian definitely comes off as an arrogant playboy at first, but by the end I was totally convinced of their love for each other. The author really shows Ian's transition from wanting a bed buddy to really wanting a true relationship. But the more time they spend together, the more Ian realizes he wants so much more with Sam. Ian makes it clear he only wants sex out of this relationship and nothing more. But, Ian is also a very horny guy, and after partying, makes some advances and he and Sam end up in bed together. For Sam it is lust at first sight, but Ian takes one look at Sam and blows him off.

Ian is somewhat new to town, yet they have mutual friends so they end up meeting again at a party later. One day he literally runs into Ian, who is playing rugby (and as you can guess, is physically the opposite of Sam). Sam is a geeky, awkward, pasty kind of guy. I think this book does such a nice job showing how when you really get to know someone, you can see past your preconceived notions and fall in love with someone you never expected to. Too Stupid to Live by Anne Tenino (male/male erotic contemporary). If you need something good to read this weekend, this is what I recommend. Happy Friday, everyone! I have been down for the count this past week with some nasty germs, but it also gave me a lot of time to read (in bed! Score!).
